Oh, hi there. I was just wandering around checking for unassigned Christmas presents. Completely innocent, you understand. I think if a present is lying around without any tag or card attached, it must be a "Finders - Keepers" situation. Don't you agree?

Merry Christmas everyone! Do you know whose birthday it is today? Can you guess? It's mine! I'm ONE today! I must admit I'm amazed at how many people seem caught up in the spirit of my birthday. Presents, smiles, kisses, all kinds of good things. And, then of course, there's this cake. It's pretty and we blew out the candle and removed it, so it's safe now. But they expect me to eat it! Nah! I'd rather get back to the presents.

Huh? Who? Me? Oh, no, no, no. I was just going to pet Colby, that's all. See how he likes my hands around his throat? It's his way of cuddling. Honest! He loves it when I do this.

Umm! Well, you see, it's like this. Gracie said I was last year's big Christmas gift to the family and I didn't get it. So she started to do a show and tell by wrapping me up in bubble wrap and putting stickers on me, like a present. Make sense to you? I guess if I have to explain it, it isn't as funny as we thought.

Here I am with Mommy and Gracie and this vaguely familiar man in a really unusual suit. I seem to have a recollection of him depositing me under Mommy, Daddy and Gracie's Christmas Tree last year. Maybe it was just a dream, but I'm not really sure how to react to him.

I'm confused. Papa says he can't come up with a caption for this picture, yet he sits there laughing and says he's in a quandary. He says that I look like I'm in a quandary, too. I like the colors and the shapes, but what the heck is a quandary?

At the Santa Parade it was very cold and there were lots of sirens and horns. Grammy Sue held me and told me that it was all right, that I didn't have to be afraid. I enjoyed the parade much more after that.

Hey! I'm waitin' for Santa, here! Gracie's dancing to the music, and I'm just drooling with anticipation that the big guy is due here any minute now. I've been told he's got a present for me, so don't you try to jump in line. I've already staked out this space. Get your own!
