Boy, this is tough. I have to endure my big sister Gracie feeding me, caressing my head and letting Mommy know if I need something. I wonder if she'll be this attentive when I'm a little older.

Is this neat or what? "Auntie" Pam figured if Gracie could have an Elly-Nap I needed a Dolphin Blankie. Cool, huh? It covers me perfectly and is great to snuggle with. Very calming. Relieves all my stress and tensions and lets me get a nice recuperative nap. At least until Gracie decides she'd like me to sit with her instead. Then the struggles begin anew as she gets me in a half-Nelson and drags me to her easy chair. It's okay. I'm a tough boy. I can take it. Check back in a few years and see who's the boss then.

Wow! Sometimes I open my eyes and, whew, right in my face is my big sister, Gracie. It's enough to make me jump. I know she loves me and tries to help me, but it can be startling to suddenly see her face larger than life. Maybe once I can focus more quickly I'll get used to it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. Just explaining why my feet and hands are in the air here.

Oh boy. Nana Jan just finished feeding me my mid-day bottle and I can really use a nap. I like lots of naps, actually. Gracie is entertaining our guests so I'll just catch 40 winks. Tough to be 20 days old, isn't it?

Okay. Now I've got Blake again. I'm holding on to him tightly and you can see he's got a good grip on my arm, too. Grammy Sue took this picture of us and the next thing I knew, he was taken away from me and ended up in the hospital. Now he's back with us. Next time I hold him I'm not letting go! Can't I keep him this time?

Hey, look who's home again! Blake! Yup, Mommy and Daddy brought him home from the hospital after his treatment for a stomach flu. He's all better now. To help him, I'm gonna teach him how to do pushups. Yeah, right.

I know I look peaceful in this picture by Grandma Diane, but I was scared. I thought I was being returned, just like a Christmas present, when Mommy and Daddy brought me back to the hospital this weekend! But it turns out the doctor wanted them to bring me back to be checked to see if I have the flu. Now it seems I do have it. So here I am, 14 days old and back in the hospital. Last report said I'm getting better. I just want to go home and be with Mommy, Daddy and my big sister, Gracie.

Okay, now the story's out. It's true, when the nurse brought me in to see Mommy for the first time, I was bundled inside this Christmas stocking. Cute, huh? Nana Jan seemed to think so as she got to hold me for the first time. I figured it was a miniature sleeping bag with plenty of room for my feet, unlike my last home which I had to practically kick my way out of!

Hello again, everyone. Mommy took this picture of my big sister, Gracie, feeding me my bottle. I made it home safely and am getting used to my new surroundings. It's a lot brighter here than where I lived for the last nine months. I'll have to get my eyes used to the lights. See you again, soon.
